One of the guiding principals for Events sanctioned by
International Dance Productions is: More Dancing, Less Rules. With this in mind, the organization's leadership has chosen to provide rules when the safety of competitors is important, for example, or when it is necessary to communicate a specific set of qualification requirements. Otherwise, this organization's goal is to provide competitor's with guidelines that allow for broader interpretations than might be found in other organizations. Take a look at the Competitor Handbook for the most current requirements and guidelines for Events sanctioned by IDP:
