The 2006 US National Dance Championships event (the “USNDC”)
is now available for sponsorship and underwriting.
A six-month marketing campaign, now underway, includes broadcast
commercials, newspaper advertisements, and newsletter updates
via e-mail and web-links. In progress, also, a national media
tour by USNDC principals with talk-show appearances, television
news interviews and print features.
Sponsors may partner with International Dance Productions
(“IDP-LLC”) for the USNDC promotion, production,
and presentation to reach over four million people via broadcast
and published advertising, and in thousands of direct-mail
flyers and event programs.
With two consecutive years of top television ratings for
partner dance programs (Dancing with the Stars), feature films
(Dance with Me) and documentaries (Mad Hot Ballroom) with
dance themes – and national media attention i.e.,(Washington
Post, New York Times) – the USNDC is attracting spectators,
participants and competitors from all over North America.
Attendance and participation is expected to triple for the
second annual event – October 6-8, 2006 – at the
Westfield’s Marriott Conference Center, Chantilly VA.
Last year’s inaugural USNDC compiled numbers 30% greater
than anticipated, resulting in enthusiastic word-of-mouth
promotion in the international dance community, and establishing
the USNDC from its inception, as a top-tier phenomenon among
the world’s major dance events.
World-class dance competitors, avid social participants,
and enthusiastic spectators are a natural draw for popular
media coverage, making the 2006 USNDC a choice opportunity
for displaying your logo, image and products.
